Sunny spells will return to Lincoln on Saturday, so get out your sunglasses and take part in the city’s RAF100 1940s weekend!

Sunday however is looking a little wet and dreary, so don’t forget to also pack your brolly.

According to the Met Office it will be a dry and sunny start to Saturday, August 11, with temperatures rising to 20 degrees by 1pm.

The outlook is fine for Saturday, while slightly cooler than the heatwave temperatures we have been used to: Met Office

Temperatures will hover between 20 to 22 degrees until around 8pm when it dips to a slightly cooler temperature of 17-19 in a cloudy evening.

Sunday is looking cloudy and wet with temperatures dropping once again: Met Office

According to the Met Office, there will be some possible outbreaks of rain on Sunday, with some bright spells developing so it could be a bit of a mixed day.
