Lincoln Sausage Festival returns next month

Come and celebrate the Lincolnshire sausage!

The famous Lincolnshire sausage will be celebrated as the crowds meat again in and around the Lincoln Castle grounds for this year’s Lincoln Sausage Festival.

The event organised by the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia, in association with Select Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire County Council and Lincoln BIG, will take place on Saturday, October 13.

Entry is from 10am to 5pm and the stalls on Castle Hill are free to browse.

Admission to Lincoln Castle stalls and activities is priced at £1 per adult (accompanying children free).

Standard Lincoln Castle admission includes the Lincoln Sausage Festival.

During the day there will be cooking demonstrations, food stalls of Lincolnshire produce, children’s entertainment and live music.

Ketchup with entertainment from local chef Rachel Green’s cooking demonstration, lively performances from The Cosmic Sausages, Juggling Jim and Mr Sausage.

The Children’s Marquee at the festival, which is sponsored by Redhill Farm Free Range Pork, encourages families to enjoy the day with circus skills and other activities.

He's the one, the only, Mr Sausage
