St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice is inviting witches and wizards to go on a special hunt this weekend in celebration of its Harry Potter shop’s first birthday.
Inspired by the Love on the Rocks Facebook project, the St Barnabas shop at upper High Street will plant a number of hand-painted rocks featuring Harry, Ron Hermione and the gang in locations across the city centre and Bailgate.
There will be plenty of rocks to find with the family. Photo: St Barnabas, Lincoln High Street
Businesses that are a part of the Bailgate Independents group, from the Strait to the Cathedral Quarter, will be playing their part and keeping some of the rocks hidden from Friday, October 12.
There will be one extra special rock to find too – the golden snitch!
If anyone finds the snitch, they will win a genuine movie replica wand of their choosing from the shop.
Players will find instructions on the base of the rocks.

Finders can either keep the stones or re-hide them somewhere else for others to find!
As part of the birthday celebrations, people will also find lots of new merchandise in the shop, cakes, a selfie frame and fun props.
Happy hunting!
