Lincoln’s Edinburgh Woollen Mill set to close next year

Premises currently up for let

The Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Lincoln is set to close in January 2019, with staff being made redundant, sources close to the situation told The Lincolnite.

The premises, which is located at St Peter At Arches in Lincoln, is currently up for let by Bank Long & Co and it is believed that redundancies are happening at the city branch.

The store stocks James Pringle, Honor Millburn and the famous Harris Tweed and prides itself in top quality knits offering ‘ageless style’.

The Lincolnite contacted Edinburgh Woollen Mill for further information in response to this and were told there is “no comment at this stage” and they “wouldn’t confirm either way”.
