Moped rider dies after Boston crash

The Ford driver has been arrested

A man in his 40s has died after a crash in Boston in the early hours of Friday morning.

As previously reported, emergency services were called to the A1121 at Boardsides at around 5.25am on Friday, October 26 where a black Ford Focus collided with a white moped.

The rider of the white moped has since died and the driver of the Ford Focus, a man in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The A1121 was closed whilst police investigated the cause of the collision. Vehicle recovery is now on the scene and the road is expected to re-open soon.
