Two arrests after Skegness ‘county lines’ raids

There was lots of police in a pub car park

Police have carried out two raids in Skegness and arrested two people as part of an ongoing crackdown on ‘County Lines’ drug crimes.

An eyewitness took pictures as multiple police cars descended on the car park at the The Highwayman Inn on Queens Road in Skegness at around 9.45am on Friday, October 12.

They said they saw offices entering and going inside a ground floor apartment in the complex next to the pub.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Officers have carried out two warrants in Skegness today (October 12). This is in relation to our ongoing efforts to tackle County Lines. Two arrests have been made.”

Criminal exploitation is also known as ‘county lines’ and is when gangs and organised crime networks exploit children to sell drugs.
