Bah humbug! No Coca-Cola truck for Lincoln

It is another year without the festive tour coming to the city

The festive Coca-Cola truck will be skipping Lincoln again on its tour around the country.

News that it won’t be coming to Lincoln might please some who would often complain about traffic and overcrowding during the event.

The truck might be skipping Lincoln on its annual tour, but the holidays are still coming to Gainsborough for the annual celebration.

It will roll into the town on Saturday, November 24 and stay in Marshall’s Yard for the weekend.

Thousands will be expected to flock to see the truck and visitors will get a free 150ml can of Coca Cola zero sugar, Diet Coke or regular Coca Cola.

Now in the eight year, the truck has travelled more than 737,000 miles and fans have marvelled in its 8,772 twinkling fairy lights.

The festive tour hasn’t announced any other stops in the county, but will start in Scotland and finish in London.
