Driver escapes serious A46 crash with minor injuries

A man was taken to hospital with non-serious injuries

One man has been taken to hospital with what’s thought to be minor injuries after a crash involving a car and two lorries on the A46 this morning.

As previously reported, eyewitness told The Lincolnite a Fiesta had been crushed under a concrete lorry.

Police said the crash, which was reported at 9.50am on Monday, November 5, involved a blue and yellow Daf Tipper lorry, a black Ford Fiesta and a transporter.

The three vehicles were travelling in the same direction, north, from Doddington Road towards Skellingthorpe Road. The road re-opened at 11.40am.

The driver of the Fiesta has been taken to hospital, with police saying his injuries are miraculously not thought to be serious.
