Man, 80, ‘punched in the face’ in Lincoln pub

Officers have released CCTV images

An elderly man was allegedly punched in the face and knocked to the ground at a Lincoln pub in an unprovoked attack.

Officers were called to The Morning Star in Greetwell Gate on November 10 to reports that a man in his 80s had been assaulted.

As part of a police investigation, CCTV images have been released of a man police are looking to speak to.

The attacker was described as being clean shaven and of an average build. The man was wearing a baseball cap and casual clothing at the time.

He also had a dog with him, described as a dark coloured greyhound with a tattoo on its ear.

Anyone with information about the incident is being urged to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident 380 of November 10.
