Police hunt for bus station beanie burglar

The victim handed over £20

A man wearing a beanie hat asked his victim for money in an alleged robbery at the Lincoln bus station over the weekend.

The victim, who was sat on a seat outside the bus station in Lincoln, was approached by a male suspect before he handed over £20 to him at 1.37pm on Sunday, November 18.

The suspect then left the scene and walked towards St Mary Le Wigford Church before turning down High Street and past the Portland Street junction.

The man is described as wearing a dark waist length coat with distinctive white draw strings, a black beanie hat under a grey hoodie top, dark trousers and black gloves.

Lincolnshire Police has released a CCTV image of man, who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation into the robbery.
