Drivers in Lincoln will see some temporary disruption this weekend due to road closures for a Remembrance event in the city.
TheA15 will be closed between the junctions with Canwick Avenue and A607 for 30 minutes on Sunday, November 11.
Hundreds of people in Lincoln will gather this Remembrance Day at various events in the city to honour those who lost their lives in times of conflict.
Remembrance Sunday falls on Sunday 11, this year marking the end of the First World War when guns finally fell silent.
A sign at the top of Cross O’Cliff Hill and also on Canwick Avenue highlights road closures, which will be in place due to a remembrance parade taking place on Grantham Road in Bracebridge Heath on Sunday, November 11.
The event, organised by the local parish council, will take place between 10.45am-11.15am.
Parades are also planned for Lincoln High Street on Saturday and Castle Hill on Sunday, which are both pedestrianised areas.
