Snooker club, bar and restaurant plan on top of Lincoln shop

It looks much better in the plans

Developers want to extend a High Street supermarket in Lincoln with a new snooker club, bar and restaurant.

The proposals by Mr Dana Omar would see a two storey extension built onto the Super Lincs shop in the city.

A new snooker club, bar, restaurant and two semi-detached homes to the back of the building would be built as part of the plans.

Additionally, a store room would be built onto the back of the shop.

Impression of how the snooker club and restaurant would look on Lincoln’s High Street.

As part of the plan, the new restaurant would be at the front of the building while the snooker club would be created at the back.

The proposals have been submitted to City of Lincoln Council.

The applicant said in their plans that the first floor of the store is currently used for storage which only covers part of the property.

In their plans, they added that the lime green front of the shop will be removed.

“The development will change the setting and appearance of the street scene along High Street,” it said.

“The proposed development removes the current shop frontage, which being lime green, currently detracts from the setting of these designated sites and the proposed new development is considered an improvement.”
