A man was caught on CCTV leaning over the counter during a theft where charity boxes were stolen from a North Hykeham dry cleaners.
A member of staff at Jacksons Cleaners at The Forum in North Hykeham, Lincoln, contacted The Lincolnite about the incident, which happened during the night of Monday, December 3.
Money was also stolen during the incident.
The person on CCTV appears to be wearing dark overalls, with a white top and a hood covering their face.
A member of staff told The Lincolnite : “We got broken into Saturday night and the scumbag stole the charity boxes and the float.
“I know there was another snatch and grab of charity boxes a few weeks ago at one of the shops in Burton Waters. It seems like there is a little bit of a trend.”
Regarding the North Hykeham incident a spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The investigation is ongoing. We have made no arrests.”
The Lincolnite understands there was a second incident at Burton Waters, but further details about this from police were not available at the time of publication.
