A 16-year-old local girl who died after she was hit by a lorry in a village near Sleaford has been named by police.
As previously reported, police closed London Road following the crash in the village of Osbournby just after 4.30pm on Monday, December 3.
Lincolnshire Police has now confirmed that the pedestrian who died was Eliza Bill from Threekingham.
In a statement her family have paid tribute to Eliza, saying: “Eliza was the most beautiful soul. She touched the hearts of all who knew her with kindness and caring.
“She leaves us with broken hearts that will never mend. We will love you always, our princess. Your mum, dad and sister.”
The family also passed on thanks to the local community and all of her friends who have been so kind to them since they moved to the area earlier this year.
A 14-year-old girl was also hurt in the crash with her injuries not thought to be serious, police said.
