People watched as paramedics rushed to the Yo Yo In Beijing restaurant on St Marks Street just after midday on Wednesday, December 5.

An eyewitness told The Lincolnite: “It looked like the person had collapsed. They were laying on their back in-between the tables and chairs and people were gathered around.”

A spokesperson for EMAS said: “We received a call at 1.00pm on December 5 to St Mark Street, Lincoln. The caller reported a person was poorly.

“We sent a paramedic in an ambulance car and the patient was treated at the scene.”
