Paramedics rush to Lincoln restaurant after person collapses

Ambulances were called to a busy city centre restaurant after a person collapsed this afternoon.

People watched as paramedics rushed to the Yo Yo In Beijing restaurant on St Marks Street just after midday on Wednesday, December 5.

An eyewitness told The Lincolnite: “It looked like the person had collapsed. They were laying on their back in-between the tables and chairs and people were gathered around.”

A spokesperson for EMAS said: “We received a call at 1.00pm on December 5 to St Mark Street, Lincoln. The caller reported a person was poorly.

“We sent a paramedic in an ambulance car and the patient was treated at the scene.”
