Police hunt after man attacked by ‘armed’ robbers

They beat him and took his wallet

A man was threatened with a knife, beaten and had his wallet stolen by a group of robbers in Gainsborough.

The theft happened on Pringle Hill in Gainsborough at 6.27pm on Sunday, December 16.

The victim was approached by three men who demanded his wallet and phone. He was then threatened with a knife, punched and kicked.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The victim, a man in his 20s, had his wallet stolen by the offenders who are described as white, in their late teens to early twenties and all wearing hoodies.”
