Third Lincoln man hands himself in over homeless attack

Police thanked all who shared the appeal

A third man from Lincoln has handed himself in after an attacker jumped feet first onto two rough sleepers in a shop doorway.

A CCTV video of the cruel incident, which was watched by two others and filmed, went viral as Humberside Police appealed for information.

Two Lincoln men aged 26 and 29 were arrested by investigating officers on Wednesday, December 12.

All three suspects shown in the CCTV footage have now been identified and are in custody after a third man, aged 27, handed himself in to police in Hull this afternoon.

The attack was reported on Whitefriargate in Hull on November 30.

Humberside Police thanked all who shared the appeal.
