Elderly man dies after A52 crash

They are supporting the man’s family at a difficult time

A 79-year-old man has died after a two car crash on the A52 near Grantham, police confirmed.

As previously reported, the road was closed at Nottingham Hill in Barrowby after a crash which was reported to police at 2.30pm on Tuesday, January 29.

The crash involved a Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Insignia.

A police spokesperson said on January 30: “We can confirm a 79-year-old man has died. He was the driver of the Ford Focus.

“We continue to appeal for any witnesses to come forward. Next of kin are aware and we are supporting the family.”
