CCTV released in football violence probe

A Lincoln fan suffered an eye injury

Further CCTV images have been released as police continue to investigate an incident in which a Lincoln City fan was hit in the eye by an object.

As previously reported, Nottinghamshire Police released CCTV images earlier this month of a man the force wants to speak to in connection with a public order incident.

During the incident a 51-year-old man, who is a Lincoln City season-ticket holder, suffered an eye injury. His long-term prognoses for his vision is still to be determined.

Nottinghamshire Police has released CCTV images of a man the force wants to speak to in connection with the public order incident.

Trouble flared at the Imps’ match against Mansfield on November 24 2018 as rival supporters threw coins and bottles at each other inside the stadium.

Lincolnshire Police issued a further appeal to try and identify men the force wishes to speak to, who may have information which is vital to the investigation.
