Get ready to sample some delicious cuisine from around the world as Lincoln Street Food Festival returns this month.
The festival, organised by Lincoln BIG and Market Place Europe, will begin on Thursday, March 28.

The event will run from Thursday to Saturday 9am-8pm with the final day on Sunday, March 31 from 10am-6pm.
There will be live music from 6pm on Thursday to Saturday in a fully-licensed Polish bar located on Lincoln’s Cornhill. Outdoor seating will also be available.

A variety of foods have been on offer at previous editions of the Lincoln Street Food Festival ranging from Spanish tapas and Greek moussaka to delicious crepes and galettes.

Last year’s Spring event was postponed and re-arranged around three weeks later than planned due to heavy snow, although a mini event still took place on the initial date.

North East Lincolnshire has become the first upper-tier council to approve a devolution deal for Greater Lincolnshire, despite multiple concerns raised by opposition members.
Councillors voted on the deal, which would see a mayor elected for a new authority covering Lincolnshire, North and North East Lincolnshire authorities. This new setup will control funding for housing, job creation, and public transport, including buses.

The government agency scheduled two sessions at the Lincolnshire Showground for Thursday evening: the first targeted local residents identified as vulnerable by the Department for Health and Social Care, and the second was for local business owners. However, attendees left the meetings visibly annoyed.
