Opening date set for Lincoln’s fourth escape room

It will be located on Silver Street

Lincoln’s fourth escape room will open its doors for the first time in the city centre next month.

As previously reported, Enigma Live Escape Rooms was granted planning permission to open at the former Direct Cabs second floor premises on Silver Street in Lincoln.

It will open in a former taxi service call centre.

The company renovated the building into four experience rooms.

Enigma Live Escape Rooms will open on April 8. The first room has been revealed as ‘Sweeney Todd’.

‘Sweeney Todd’ is for two to six people. It has a difficulty rating of 7 out of 10.

Sweeney Todd is on his way back after you have snuck in to his famous barbershop, but “if you’re not too careful it might be more than just your hair getting cut”.

Several jobs are expected to be created when the escape rooms open. In each of the games amateur sleuths will have an hour to escape before they are trapped inside – but can use limited life lines for clues.

Planning permission was granted by the council.

The family run business already has a few popular sites in Retford, Doncaster and Wakefield.
