Discover the wonders of yellowbelly county this weekend with free tours and events.
The annual celebration on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March will mark the beginning of English Tourism Week.
Highlights include free entry to Lincoln Cathedral, tours of Lincoln Castle grounds, an open day at Lincoln Guildhall and free rides on the open-top sightseeing bus tour.
If all of that walking gets you a little hungry then pop down to the Lincoln Street Food Festival for some international delights.
Outside the city, Gainsborough Heritage Centre and Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre are also offering free entry.
Hartsholme Country Park is holding free tours around the area to take in breathtaking views.
Lydia Rusling, CEO of Visit Lincoln, said: “Discover Lincolnshire Weekend kick-starts the tourist season and gives residents and visitors a chance to discover what Lincoln and Lincolnshire has to offer.
“Whether that’s by learning something new on a tour of the city, trying some local produce or experiencing one of the county’s historic attractions.
“With free activities, walking and guided tours, plus special offers over the weekend, Visit Lincoln is encouraging everyone to celebrate the start of Spring by exploring and discovering the county’s greatest assets with the family.”
