A large tree has fallen across the A15 Cross O’Cliff Hill in Lincoln during strong winds.
The incident is causing traffic to build in the south of the city on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 13.
The road is mostly blocked near to the LSST gates.
Drivers told The Lincolnite some cars mounted the pavement in order to pass and lorry drivers have stopped at the scene to help with recovery.
Police have been called to the scene.
A Met Officer weather warning is in place for strong winds until 3pm.
