Siblings hospitalised after falling in water at leisure park

Police want to hear from any witnesses

Two siblings, aged three and seven, were rushed to hospital after falling into water at a leisure park in Ingoldmells.

Police were made aware of the incident at Waterside Leisure Park in Ingoldmells at 5.26pm on Wednesday, April 10. A three-year-old girl and her seven-year-old brother fell into water at the leisure park on Anchor Lane.

One of the children is receiving specialist care at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and is stable. The other child attended hospital but is okay, police said.

Lincolnshire Police said: “We continue to work closely with the family and the site to understand how this incident has occurred.”

Lincolnshire Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident 334 of April 10.
