CCTV appeals over spate of Lincolnshire thefts

Police are appealing for information

Lincolnshire Police released CCTV images of four alleged thefts across the county.

Officers are investigating two reported thefts from Bilsby Service Station in Bilsby, Alford. On two occasions – April 4 and 19 – an unknown offender entered the store.

On each occasion the offender left with a bottle of Gin, valued at £39.99 each, without paying.

Police want to speak to the man in the below image in connection with this.

Anyone with information, or who recognises the man, should contact police on 101 or via email at [email protected] quoting incident 308 of April 18.

Gainsborough

A woman entered boots at 12.37pm on February 26. She selected multiple items including face cream and allegedly left the store without paying.

Police released a CCTV image of a woman they wish to identify in connection with the theft.

Police are looking to identify this man as it is believed he may be able to assist with their inquiries into an alleged theft of alcohol.

The theft occurred at the Spar in Burgh Road in Skegness at around 8am on March 5. Vodka and two bottles of Prosecco were taken.

Anyone who recognises this man should contact police on 101 quoting 19000113094.

Stamford

Two young men wearing hooded tops allegedly demanded that an elderly man handed over his wallet and mobile phone in Stamford.

Police are investigating the incident that occurred on Friday, April 26 on the steps to Eight Acres on Rock Road.

The man was walking down the steps when he was approached by two young men, one black male and one white male, police said.

The men demanded that the elderly male hand over his wallet and mobile phone. It is believed that the men were disturbed by people approaching and they ran off along Rock Road towards West Street.

The offenders were wearing hooded tops.

Police are especially interested to speak to a couple who had walked along Rock Road from Waitrose and stopped and spork to the elderly man immediately after the incident. It is believed that they may hold vital information into the incident and may have seen the offenders run past them.
