Furniture store JYSK will open its new, bigger and better store in Lincoln this weekend. The Lincolnite went for a sneak peek inside the new store on Deacon Road.
JYSK will open at its new premises at a purpose built site near to the Carlton Centre on Saturday, May 4.
The Danish-owned furniture store moved the Lincoln branch from its previous site at St Marks which will be redeveloped into student accommodation, parking, new shops and leisure spaces.
The St Marks store closed on April 14. All staff will relocate to the new store.

Lincoln’s new JYSK at the Deacon Retail Park will be a Concept 3.0 store. This means it will offer “room set inspirations and aspirational product groupings”.

B&M Bargains, JYSK and Sue Ryder have also taken possession of their new homes on the Deacon Road Retail Park.
Units have been built on the former Allied Bakeries site which had been left derelict since its demolition over a decade ago. They were built by North Hykeham-based construction company Lindum.
