Hundreds of Lincoln City supporters were given the chance to emulate Imps’ captain Lee Frecklington by proudly lifting the League Two trophy on Tuesday night.
As previously reported, Sincil Bank was wild with celebration after the Imps clinched the SkyBet League Two title with a goalless draw against Tranmnere on Easter Monday. It meant the title-winning Imps secured promotion into England’s third tier – League One – for the first time since 1999.

On Tuesday, May 28 fans were given the opportunity to get their photo taken with the trophy. A photo opportunity session was held in the Travis Perkins Suite at Sincil Bank.
