Lincoln Fashion Week enjoyed its best-ever catwalk show to date after over 350 attended the 2019 event at Lincoln Cathedral.
There was a Victorian twist for this year’s Lincoln Fashion Week with 90 extra seats snapped up in the final hours ahead of the glittering finale catwalk show on May 17.
Lincoln BIG’s charity partner for the event was Macmillan Cancer Support, who will directly benefit from a portion of the grand finale ticket sales. The Waterside Shopping Centre and St Mark’s Shopping Centre were the joint headline sponsors.

Lincoln BIG Colleague Events and Promotions Assistant Jacinta Peachey said: “We had all the ingredients for a fabulous evening and the audience enthusiastically applauded our fantastic models, cameras were flashing and people were also busy posting photos and comments on social media.
“Models showcased the latest fashions available in Lincoln for all ages and University of Lincoln Fashion Design students took to the “runway” with some amazing futuristic designs, having had some of their work on show in the Waterside Shopping Centre earlier in the week. Sara Bird of SqWears Couture also dazzled with her unique designs.

“We’d like to thank our joint headline sponsors, the Waterside Shopping Centre and St Mark’s Shopping Centre and also John O’Donoghue of Home nightclub, who provided the bubbly and hosted the After Show Party; along with fabulous hairstyling by the team from Toni & Guy, Lincoln College who did the models’ make-up and Ernest Jones for the use of its jewellery.
“Our charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support gave us “front of house” support at the show and we are thrilled to announce that the charity took £650 in raffle ticket sales and a further £100 in donations. It will also receive 50 per cent of our ticket sales for the event, when this figure is finalised.”
