Lincolnshire village roads to be resurfaced

Drivers are being warned to avoid the area

Three busy village roads will be closed for resurfacing this week.

Work has started on the A157 Louth Road, from Wragby to West Barkwith, the A158 Horncastle Road, at Hatton village, and the A158 Langton Bends, at Langton by Wragby and will continue on Tuesday, May 14.

Each road will take around one to two days to complete, but the exact timings will depend on weather conditions.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the roads, while Lincolnshire County Council uses a convoy system to protect workers.

When the works are completed a 20 mph speed limit will be in place for the following seven days.
