A 61-year-old man from Brigg was sentenced to four years in jail for intended sexual offences against children.
David Parker, of Glebe Road, Brigg, was jailed and given a lifetime sexual harm prevention order.
He pleaded to offences of attempting to arrange/facilitate the commission of a child sex offence at an earlier court appearance.
Detective Constable Carol Burns, who investigated the case, said: “I am pleased with the sentence handed to Mr Parker today (Friday, May 10) and want to reassure the public that the police will continue to prioritise offenders who show a sexual interest in children.
“We will consider all means to ensure offenders are brought to justice and victims protected from harm.
“I would urge anyone who is a victim of any form of sexual abuse or exploitation to contact us. We will act sensitively and do whatever we can to bring their case to court. No one should suffer in silence. You can call us on 101, we will listen and we will act.”
