Nine new units approved on Lincoln business park

New units for small businesses

Plans have been approved for nine new commercial units on a Lincoln business park.

Taylor Lindsey Ltd submitted proposals for the new units on Avro Court, Sadler Road, in an effort to “meet the needs of small businesses”.

The facilities will be built as part of an expansion of the site.

City of Lincoln Council gave the go ahead for the plan which will see four 1,000 and five 2,000 square foot units built.

The developer said it had received a “number of enquiries” about the new facilities.

It added in its plans that the there was a “demand” for new units for small businesses.

It said: “Taylor Lindsey have received a number of enquiries, from smaller enterprises, for the business units under construction and are highly likely to all be let in the near future which is proof of the demand and requirement for additional units in this area, although some of the units are being combined into large units, giving evidence that larger units are also required.”
