Boris Johnson is coming to Lincolnshire

He will be the special guest at a Conservative dinner

Prime Minister hopeful Boris Johnson will visit Lincolnshire for early birthday celebrations at a fundraising dinner event later this month.

The former Mayor of London, whose full name is Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, confirmed in May that he would be standing in the Conservative party leadership election following Theresa May’s resignation. She will resign on Friday, June 7.

The 54-year-old MP born in Manhattan, New York City, who will turn 55 on June 19, will be the special guest at the “Dinner with Boris” event. It will be held in a marquee in the grounds of Belvoir Castle in Grantham on Thursday, June 13.

The event is being held by The Conservative Associations of Grantham & Stamford, Sleaford & North Hykeham and Rutland & Melton. It starts at 7pm ready to dine at 7.30pm. Entrance will be via the Knipton Gate only.
