New Pokémon inspired by Lincoln Imp

What’s that Pokémon? It’s Impidimp

Lincoln’s famous imp has inspired a new Pokémon character for an upcoming game and we can’t wait to Pikachu-se it later this year.

The Impidimp character was revealed with a demo at the gaming conference E3 and has already captured the hearts of Pokémon fans.

It is a small and mainly pink character with a purple tongue, mark on its face and wings.

The ComicBook website reported that Impidimp pays homage to the statue found on a wall inside Lincoln Cathedral, which has become a much-loved symbol of the city and local football team.

Sword and Shield will be released on the Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019.

When it’s released players will be able to play in the Galar region with many of its landmarks inspired by Great Britain.

Pokémon has created just over 1,000 characters in the last twenty years, making it harder than ever to catch ’em all.

Not much is known about Impidimp, except that it is the first dark and fairy type Pokémon ever created.
