There will also be a Night Circus

Galloping horses, jugglers, fire-breathers and more will be at the full weekend event on Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18. It will run from 10am-5pm each day.

Colourful sideshows will fill the grounds with musical entertainment.

The circus fun doesn’t stop there as the castle is hosting The Night Circus the following month on Friday, September 20.

Alice’s Night Circus and spectacular performances by other circus acts, including a contortionist and daring sword swallower, will keep people entertained in the Victorian Prison. It will run from 6pm-8pm and 8.30pm-10.30pm.

Lincoln-based Alice’s Night Circus blends the weird and wonderful world of Steampunk with the circus. On August 20, 2018 Alice, whose real name is Julia Scott, was named as The Lincolnite of the week.

Adult tickets to the Night Circus are priced at £25 with concessions at £20. Tickets for Annual Pass Holders are priced at £20. Place are limited so early booking is advised – for more information and to purchase tickets click here.
