Robbers targeted and defecated on the floor in a food bank in Grimsby that helps around 100 people a day.
Humberside Police is investigating the incident which happened at a food bank in the old Holme Hill Primary School in Grimsby in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, June 2.
According to reports, the thieves broke into the building by smashing through the window of a fire escape that leads out to Heneage Road before stealing items of food and clothing, as well as children’s toys and presents.
Neighbourhood officers will provide support to those working there. An investigation has been launched to try and find who is responsible.
This is the second time the food back was targeted. In March raiders switched off all the freezers.

Neighbourhoods Chief Inspector Will Jenkins said: “This is an awful crime against an organisation which only provides help to those in need.”
