Woman hospitalised after A6121 crash

The injuries are not thought to be serious

A woman was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a bush on the A6121 Lincolnshire on Friday morning.

The crash involving one car on the A6121 Stamford Road at Toft was reported to police at 8.39am on Friday, June 14.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said a woman was injured and taken to hospital, but the injuries are not thought to be serious.

The road was blocked and not fully opened yet. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area if possible.

According to AA Traffic the road is blocked with heavy traffic both ways between Elm Avenue and Lound Road.

A spokesperson for EMAS said: “We received a call at 8.41am on June 14 to the A6121 near Bourne. The caller reported that there had been a road traffic collision. We sent a crewed ambulance and one patient has been taken to Peterborough City Hospital.”
