The fourth annual Lincoln Dragon Boat Challenge took place on the Brayford Waterfront, raising £10,000 for charities.
The event organised by local solicitors Ringrose Law took place on Saturday, July 20. Several hundred spectators watched crews face the thirty foot brightly painted Chinese boats over a 200 metre course along the Brayford.
Winners from last year Belton Construction, kept hold of their title again for 2019 and walked away victorious on Saturday afternoon, being crowned champions once more.

Alex Bennett, organiser of the event at Ringrose Law said: “We had a fantastic day on Saturday and want to thank everyone who attended and participated in the event.
“The atmosphere on the Brayford was brilliant, and a great day was had by all. We are now collecting sponsorship money from the teams but hope to have raised close to £10,000 in total for the two charities.”
The Boat Race will be taking place again in 2020, date to be announced soon. For further details or to get involved please contact Alex Bennett at [email protected] or go online here.
