Rapist on the run in Lincolnshire for five days

Do not approach him

A convicted rapist is still on the run five days after absconding from an open prison in Boston.

Stephen Tierney, 39, did not return to HMP North Sea Camp on Wednesday, July 3 and has been missing ever since. Police said last week that Tierney was last seen in Boston Market Place and may have used public transport to travel to Lincoln.

Police have released a new picture of Stephen Tierney.

Police confirmed on Monday that the search continues to locate Tierney, who is described as around five foot seven inches tall and of small build with brown/ginger hair. He also has a tattoo saying “wrist” on his right arm.

Tierney poses a medium risk of violence towards the public, who are advised not to approach him.

They said: “We are grateful for the alls we have had from the public and we are following up all information received.”
