It opens this weekend

A Dinosaur Encounter exhibition from London’s Natural History Museum will open in Lincoln for this first time this weekend.

The Lincolnite went for a sneak preview of the exhibition at The Collection Museum on Danes Terrace, where people will be able to come face-to-face with their favourite dinosaurs.

There will be impressive dinosaur models and animatronics and fossil replicas. The exhibition also features an animatronic model three quarters the size of a life-size T-Rex.

There is also a dinosaur trail of quirky dino-footprints popping up around the city. Lincoln BIG is laying scores of “paw-prints” in the city to lead families to Dinosaur Encounter.
