Sudden death of Lincoln man ‘not suspicious’

The community have expressed their shock and sadness

Police investigating the sudden death of a Lincoln man are not treating the case as suspicious.

As previously reported, residents called the emergency services at around 4.15pm on Thursday, July 11 with reports that a body had been found.

Residents told The Lincolnite how they heard screams inside that building before details emerged of what had happened and the police were called.

Many left messages on social media when the body was found to leave their condolences with the family.

Lincolnshire Police said: “We received a call at 4.29pm today (July 11) reporting a sudden death of a man at Fulbeck House, Turner Avenue, Lincoln.”

An ambulance spokesperson said: “We received a call at 4.12pm on July 11 to a private address in Lincoln. We sent a paramedic in a fast response car.”
