A 36-year-old man was found with unexplained facial injuries near a petrol station in Skegness.
Investigating officers are trying to understand what happened to the man near to the petrol station in Roman Bank during the evening of July 14.
Lincolnshire Police have released CCTV images of potential witnesses they are trying to locate. Police reiterated that these people “are strictly believed to be just witnesses who may have seen what happened.”
Police are also appealing for witnesses that were in the vicinity of the Asda petrol station between 11.35pm and 11.55pm that evening, including anyone who may have dashcam footage.
The force said: “Officers are keeping an open mind over what happened to the victim.”
