Woman in hospital after being rescued from under lorry

Police appeal for witnesses

A woman has been taken to hospital after emergency services managed to rescue her from under a lorry.

Paramedics treated the woman on the scene after she was hit by a lorry on the High Street in Grantham outside of the Edinburgh Woolen Mill at around midday on Monday, July 29.

Lincolnshire Police has since opened the road after they told drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area.

The force has since confirmed that the woman suffered injuries but did not elaborate on how serious they were.

Anyone who saw what happened leading up to the crash is being urged to call 101 and quote incident 118 of July 19.
