New Lincoln Pride 2019 location, but no parade this year

Not on Brayford Pool anymore

Lincoln Pride will have a new location in 2019 as organisers try to make the event “the biggest to date” after outgrowing its space on the Brayford.

The event on Saturday, September 28 will now be held at the new location of the Arboretum park off Monks Road. It will run from 11am until 7pm, but there will be no parade this year.

However, the organisers are hopeful the parade will return in future years.

The Scene nightclub will be open throughout the day of Pride with various different activities.

The official after party will also be held at The Scene from 7pm until 7am the following day, with further details to be announced in due course.

The Lincoln Pride Committee said: ” We have been working hard to ensure that this year’s pride is the biggest to date and we’re excited to invite you to Lincoln’s proudest event.

“Unfortunately we are sad to announce there will be no parade this year, but we trust it will return in the coming years.”
