Emergency crews rush in after sudden death on Grantham street

An air ambulance attended the scene

A man in his 60s died on a Grantham street on Monday, but police are not treating it as suspicious.

Lincolnshire Police received a report of a sudden death on Rugby Road in Grantham at around 11.44am on Monday, September 9.

An air ambulance also attended the scene.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and this matter has been passed to the coroner.”

A spokesperson for the East Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 11.44am on September 9 to a private address in Grantham.

“The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent a paramedic in a fast response car, a road ambulance and an air ambulance.”
