The winners of the 2019 Select Lincolnshire awards were announced at a ceremony at Lincoln Minster School.
The annual event aimed at celebrating, recognising and rewarding Lincolnshire’s food, drink and hospitality industry was held on Thursday, September 19.
Guests were entertained by Richard Askam, the person behind the Coca-Cola ‘Share a Coke’ campaign at the event organised and hosted by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and Select Lincolnshire.
Guests were also treated to a five-course meal created by the catering team at Lincoln Minster School, with ingredients supplied by local members of Select Lincolnshire including Fosters Butchers, The Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company, Scaman’s Eggs, Lymn Bank Farm Cheese Company and Lincolnshire Brewing Company.
Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive at Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are so proud to champion the brand of Select Lincolnshire and have such high-quality businesses alongside us doing such fantastic work in the food, drink and hospitality industry.
“Our aim is to continue to strengthen the brand across Lincolnshire, as it’s safe to say that when it comes to food, drink and hospitality, what we have here in the county is very special and we want Select Lincolnshire to play a prominent role in showcasing the very best.”
