Former Lincoln loan shop to become pizza and kebab shop

One more pizza takeaway to try

A former loan shop in Lincoln could be turned into a new pizza and kebab takeaway.

Jonathan Smith, of Nocton, has applied to Lincoln City Council to convert 73 High Street into a new eatery.

The building was formerly a Loans 2 Go business but is now empty. It’s next to a Romanian food shop, occupying a previous sex shop premises.

Documents before the authority show that the premises will be accessed from Peel Street.

Mr Smith’s application form says that pre-application advice found no issue with the plans.

City of Lincoln Council will make a decision on the plan at a later date.
