Night time cycle event to light up Lincoln

Cyclists will decorate their bikes with lots of lights

Cyclists can get free coffee and cake when they take part in a special night time bike ride.

On Friday, October 25, Access Lincoln is inviting people to decorate their bikes with lots of lights for the ride.

It will be part of the Frequency Festival ‘Digital After Dusk’ event, so riders will pass other displays and shows that evening.

The ride will start at Lincoln Central train station at 5.30pm and finish at 6.45pm with a visit to the 200 Degrees coffee shop at the Cornhill for free drink and cake.

Alison Mackfall, Access Lincoln project co-ordinator, said: “This will be an opportunity to see Lincoln in a different light, with a host of activities going on around the city, including a digital light box parade, digital graffiti and a silent disco.

“Our bike ride is a great way to get a taste of what’s going on and will leave you plenty of time to explore the other events happening in the city that evening.

“And with free coffee and cake on offer, what more can you want!”

There are a few limited places available so anyone interested is being invited to reserve a place by email.
