Firefighters rush to put out blaze at Boston hospital

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue sent four appliances

Crews rushed to put out a fire at Boston Pilgrim Hospital on Wednesday morning.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue sent four appliances along with a ladder after staff spotted smoke coming from the plant room.

The crews isolated the fire to an electrical motor and then ventilated the room.

Firefighters decided that an evacuation was not necessary because there was only a small amount of smoke left.
