Shops in Lincoln will be keeping doors open later from November 22, just in time for Christmas.
This year, the late night shopping has moved to Friday nights, but there are still some Thursday and Saturday nights in the calendar too.
Waterside Shopping Centre is among the places people can enjoy late night Christmas shopping. The centre posted the following dates for people’s diaries:
November
Friday 22 (Lincoln Christmas Light Switch-on night): 9am to 9pm
Friday 29: 9am to 7pm
December
Thursday 5: 9am to 7pm
Friday 6: 9am to 8pm
Saturday 7: 9am to 7pm
Friday 13: 9am to 8pm
Friday 20: 9am to 8pm
The city’s Christmas lights will be switched on on November 22 from 4.45pm to 7.30pm.
Parking will be free for the evening at council-run car parks and the St Marks Shopping Centre.
The free to attend Reindeer Parade event will take place on Thursday, November 28, with a display at St Marks between 2pm to 4pm.
