Man dies after serious A52 crash

An elderly man has sadly died

A man in his 70s has died following a collision on the A52 near Sleaford, which left two others seriously injured.

As reported previously, police closed off the A52 at the Osbournby junction at around 4.20pm on Thursday, November 21.

Two cars were involved in the crash.

A man in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene, Lincolnshire Police confirmed on Friday, November 22.

A woman and a man were also taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Any witnesses to the collision are being asked to call 101, quoting incident 284 of November 21.
